Being a part of children’s lives has always been intentional, as I desire to bring joy and happiness to them as much as they do to me. We all have passions; things that make us naturally smile from the inside out, as mine include children from the age of infancy all throughout their teenage years. My interests also entail animals, acting, music, dancing, swimming, a variety of outdoor activities, traveling the world and soaking in as much knowledge as I can from people and their diverse environments.
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, the youngest and only girl of two older brothers. As they were naturally overprotective of me which I can now say I appreciate, I yearned to have a younger sibling to be playful and have a closeness with. Also coming from a humbling background, I learned to care for and protect others at a young age, reaching maturity at a quicker rate, which lessened the time spent on enjoying my childhood. Having these experiences made me realize a child’s precious, impressionable, and vulnerable qualities. Children indeed require much attention, love, and support from family members and caretakers that can provide them these necessities for positive, healthy growth. I am always proud to be a part of this process.
I have achieved my Master’s Degree in school psychology, working with the K through middle school population. My focus currently is to shift gears towards taking up some acting classes, learn a new language, pay off some school loans and look into other passions of mine. After completing my education, I am eager to fulfill some dreams that I dare not want to regret in the future saying to myself that I missed my opportunities when I was younger. And so here I am, knowing that for me, working with children is something that comes naturally. We meet, chat, play, and do lots of laughing. We usually get a kick out of each other. Babies included.

I will be SmartSitting while...
Working as a school psychologist.
My childcare expertise lies in working with…
All ages. My experience has led me to have a substantial background working with all ages.
Activities and skills I love to teach and share with children:
I enjoy sharing activities with children that involve educational activities, games, singing, cooking, and independent living skills (according to age).
Most memorable childcare experience:
Generally my most memorable moments with children involve a child openly expressing himself/herself and his/her enthusiasm when interacting with me. Kids do say the darnedest things, are especially attuned to how a person feels, and know how to make you smile especially when you need it the most!
In 5 years, I hope to be...
Taking some acting classes and possibly pursuing the field further if it's for me, and traveling and experiencing different countries. I hope to be wiser, stronger, and absolutely content with my life, family and good friends.
I am:
A college graduate, a special needs sitter
