I am currently pursuing a performing career, auditioning for musical theater, commercials, film, concerts and TV. This allows me to have a very flexible schedule. What is the best part about that? I absolutely love kids and it gives me the perfect opportunity to work with them. My mother used to be a nursery school teacher, so besides my own camp counselor experience, I grew up helping mom in her classroom whenever I could. Now, I’d love to bring that same enthusiasm to taking care of your children!
I grew up on Long Island, New York and attended Towson University in Towson, Maryland. I always wanted to perform, but felt that I should go to school to learn skills I could use if performing didn’t work out. I chose to major in Electronic Media and Film, concentrating in Television because it was definitely a subject I was interested in and allowed me to still learn about and work in the entertainment field. During my college summers, I worked as a camp counselor with children of all ages. As a junior and senior, I interned at WE (Women’s Entertainment), NBC’s “Today” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”. After graduating, I was immediately offered an associate producer position at “The People’s Court”, where I was for 2 ½ years before deciding to leave to pursue my passion of performing. Although sometimes I miss the stability, I never regret my decision to follow my dreams because ultimately, that’s what makes me happy.
My hobbies pretty much mesh into the kind of career I’d like, whether it be watching my favorite show, “The Office”, attending a musical, or being a proud member of the NYC Karaoke League. Yes, that is real! I also love spending time with my family, friends and enjoying everything NYC has to offer.

Singing, dancing, acting and possibly lacrosse!
Most memorable childcare experience:
When I was a day camp counselor, there was a little girl who was afraid to dunk her head under the water. All of the other little girls in her swim group would go under water without abandon, but I knew that for her to do the same, I couldn't just talk her into it; she had to trust me.
Luckily, over the next few weeks, I slowly worked with her individually (while the lifeguard/swim instructor taught the rest of the kids) to gain her trust. We started just by holding hands while she paddled her feet, then moved up to me carrying her around the pool, and eventually one day, she said she was ready to go under. I held her as we dunked so she knew I wasn't letting go for anything and by the end of the summer, she was mixed in with the rest of the campers & confidently going under the water herself.
In 5 years, I hope to be...
A working singer/actress & starting a family of my own.
I am:
A college graduate, a Hamptons sitter, CPR Certified, a 2011-2012 afterschool sitter
