I am a highly motivated professional care provider currently looking for a full-time long- term commitment. I adore spending time with children and seeing them grow and develop each day amazes me. I love to watch how children discover the world and becoming a part of their early-stage lives is extremely rewarding for me. I have excellent communication and organizational skills and I am always looking to learn new things. As I am very detail oriented, I always try to create games or activities that fit best with the particular interests and skills of the children I am taking care of.

Originally from Chile, I moved here in 2007 to work in Hospitality and soon thereafter began babysitting again (I couldn’t stay away!) I enjoy reading and crafts as much as dancing and singing. One other interest that is truly dear to my heart is animal rescue and animal rights. Most of all, I look forward to working with children for years to come!

Newborns, infants and toddlers up to six years old, but l have also babysat older girls up to 11 years old. I prefer younger children because they are so eager to learn new things and they get impressed with simple things.

Activities and skills I love to teach and share with children:

I love teaching numbers, colors, ABC's, singing and l truly adore seeing little faces get amazed as they hear me read stories and make different voices pretending to be different characters interacting. I also really like when we spend time coloring or painting or playing with play-dough; l truly like any kind of hand-crafts we can make together.

Most memorable childcare experience:

It's very difficult to choose only one memorable experience, but if I have to mention only one, there was a very sweet moment with Quentin (he was 20 months old at the time) that stands out to me. I was cold so I put a little blanket on my knees as we were sitting down reading books. Quentin got closer to me and hugged my legs, looked up to me and asked me: "night night?" He thought that the blanket meant that I was going to sleep. It melted my heart to see that pure reaction from him. He was so little and couldn't really speak, yet so considerate towards me thinking I needed a nap.
