Growing up with three younger brothers, and the oldest of sixteen first cousins, my experience as a babysitter came a bit earlier than others. My mother is a pediatric nurse and my aunt is a kindergarten teacher, so I grew up always knowing the importance of quality TLC when it comes to child-care. I’ve been babysitting for neighborhood families for over eight years and also have teaching and counseling experience with classrooms of fifteen or more students. There really isn’t anything I can’t handle!
I graduated from Boston University last year with a degree in Film and Television and a minor in Spanish. Since then, I have been doing freelance work in documentary film production. Jobs range anywhere from one day to one week (and months in between) so I'd love to find a family that can be somewhat flexible and still have me as part of their team.
I love outdoor activities, traveling and trying new foods. I volunteer in Central America at an orphanage and clinic every summer and love interacting with the children. I’ve always loved spending time with kids of all ages and relating to them on their level. I hope that I can create a bond with your family!

I will be SmartSitting while...
I am working on my own projects and eventually applying to temporary freelance jobs.
My childcare expertise lies in working with…
All ages of children, primarily pre-school and up.
Activities and skills I love to teach and share with children:
Cooking, playing outside, dancing and singing, making up skits, and tutoring all subjects.
Most memorable childcare experience:
It is very difficult for me to choose my most memorable childcare experience because I was really fortunate to have so many of them. I enjoy spending time with children and even after 25 years of doing so, I still love it. I used to babysit a boy named DJ that has Autism. DJ and I used to go out and about in the city of Boston every Sunday. We would go to the Park, the museum and the beach. My most memorable experience was going to the the beach and racing him to the water. When we got there, he gave me a big squeeze and said, "I love you, Miss. Angela!"
In 5 years, I hope to be...
On my way to producing and directing my own international documentaries.
I am:
A college graduate, a special needs sitter
