I have been teaching private/group voice in New York City for 4 years. I love teaching because it allows me to learn something new each day about my students and myself. While teaching at NYU I really learned the physicality of how the voice works and proper singing techniques. I still take private voice lessons and my current teacher is a wonderful mentor. I believe that teaching is a real team effort. The student must want to absorb as much information as possible while the teacher must give 100% of his/her attention during the lesson time.

Career Highlight:

I had an assistantship from NYU to teach private voice to non-majors. I was a member of the Adjunct Faculty and taught 10 students per week while pursuing my degree.
