SmartSitting Network Fees:

There is no fee to begin a search and review qualified candidate applications.

SmartSitter Salaries:

SmartSitter salaries are individually negotiated between the family and the SmartSitter, on an hourly or weekly basis. Most SmartSitters request between $15 and $25 per hour based on childcare experience, educational background and job specifics. SmartSitters kindly request a minimum of 3 hours per day.

We will do our best to recommend SmartSitters within your ideal childcare budget.

Booking Fee:

When you hire a SmartSitter, our fees are:

Long Term Child Care:

15% of SmartSitter's projected gross annual compensation (based on 52 weeks) with a minimum fee of $1500 paid at time of hire.

• Long Term bookings include complimentary last minute sitting and membership to The Evening Club for the duration of the booking.
• We provide a full 100% refund within the first month if for any reason your SmartSitter leaves your employment. Should your SmartSitter leave within one year, we provide a pro-rated portion of your original fee towards your next search.
• Sample fee calculation: ($18/hour) x (25 hours/week) x (52 weeks) x (15%) = SmartSitting Fee = $3,510

Short Term Child Care (less than 6 months):

30% of SmartSitter's gross compensation ($25 minimum), invoiced monthly based on hours reported by SmartSitter and verified by family.

• There is an additional $10 fee for Short Term bookings made with less than 24 hours notice.
• Sample fee calculation: ($18/hour) x (10 hours/week) x (30%) = $54 per week

The Evening Club (for bookings after 6pm):

$25/booking or $50/month for 3 bookings.

• There is an additional $10 fee for Evening Club bookings made with less than 24 hours notice. Evening Club bookings do not include overnight stays.
